MD invited to join “The Manufacturer” Advisory Board

Jason Lippitt (MD) has recently received an invitation to join The Manufacturer Conference Advisory Board.

The Manufacturer Magazine is the UK’s foremost resource for manufacturing leaders across all industry sectors and as such is ranked by Google as a news provider. Their vision for the future of British manufacturing is to have the most active global manufacturing community and strongest knowledge base globally. They exist because they want British manufacturers to be the most efficient, sustainable and profitable in the world.

It is through the engagement of the Advisory Board that The Manufacturer can gain insight into the latest industry developments in order to deliver a content driven annual conference with real relevance and value for its attendees. Their aim is that the board’s input will result in a day of knowledge sharing created by manufacturers, for manufacturers.

The MDC Advisory Board comprises of manufacturing leaders that represent the broad range of UK. These select number of leading individuals from within the manufacturing community join the event advisory board specifically for the event as well as other events and conferences which will be held across the year.

Jason said that he was delighted to have been asked to join the advisory board and is looking forward to sharing his outlook on UK manufacturing.

CHAUCER SCHOOL’S VALUES EVENT

TMAT’s very own Financial Controller Laura Bawden attended Chaucer School’s Values Event day on Tuesday 14th May. Laura shared her experiences and knowledge at the Values Event, as well as showing her leadership skills and her positive perspective.

Laura is one of the first people to sign up for The Manufacturer’s recent School Governor’s campaign. The aim is to have someone from a manufacturing company on the board of governors of every state-run school in the country. Laura has started the process by becoming a member of the Chaucer School’s Business Advisory Board and she will be considered for the governor’s board should a vacancy arise.

TMAT would like to wish Laura every success with this campaign and hope that the children of the future will aspire to work within the manufacturing and engineering industry!
